Bombaiyer Bombete: A Review
Bombaiyer Bombete (Bengali: বম্বইয়র বম্বট) is a 2003 Indian Bengali thriller film directed by Sandip Ray and based on the story of the same name by his father Satyajit Ray. It was the third big screen adaptation of the fictional detective character Feluda after 25 years of the second Feluda movie Joi Baba Felunath (1979), which was also directed by Satyajit Ray.
The film follows the adventures of Feluda (Sabyasachi Chakrabarty), his young cousin and assistant Topshe (Parambrata Chatterjee), and his friend and writer Lalmohan Ganguly, alias Jatayu (Bibhu Bhattacharya), as they travel to Mumbai to watch the shooting of a film based on Jatayu's novel, Bombaiyer Bombete. However, they get involved in a mysterious plot involving a rare manuscript, a film producer, a smuggler, and a murderer.

The film is a fast-paced and entertaining thriller that captures the essence of Satyajit Ray's original story.
